I’m one of the lucky ladies who has PCOS. Something Kristin had yet to work significantly with prior to me. But she dove right in and researched a protocol to cater to my sensitive endocrine system – which she continues to tweak as we work together. One of the most important lessons I have learned and continue to learn from Kristin is the importance of carbs and fats. I’ve always been health obsessed and fitness oriented, but even I was misinformed about a lot of things. I would push through 8 mile runs and at the end of the day my calories were under 1,000. Not purposefully, but like many woman I viewed carbs and fat as the devil. Once I reintroduced them to my diet (the first time since high school) combined with hormone therapy from my OBGYN, my numbers finally started moving in the right direction for a 22 year old female. Food still scares me, but with the help of Kristin I’ve made major strides.
Quick run-through of some progress since working with Kristin – I no longer wake up 8-10 times in the middle of the night, my chronic GERD is under control (like most Americans, I was overdosing on Tums when Kristin discovered I actually have LOW stomach acid), a probiotic has changed my life, my relationship with food is continuously improving, and I’m tackling PCOS via nutrition and wellness.
Another important point. I went to the worst Doctor of my life that wanted to prescribe me tons of synthetic medicine and said some things that left me in tears. This was after my first 3 month plan with Kristin expired. After an emotional phone call with my mom, she told me to continue working with Kristin. I’m very grateful to have Kristin in my wellness tribe and am forever thankful for her help!

“I got the opportunity to work with Kristin when I participated in the Whole Life Challenge through Crossfit 732/Long Branch Crossfit. Getting my body fat percentage measured with the Poliquin BioSignature Modulation was eye opening! I never knew measurements on specific parts of the body can determine so much internally. After getting measured, I talked to Kristin about some symptoms I’ve been experiencing and went in for a full symptom assessment. The assessment determined I need a good detox and I’m not absorbing vitamins too well. Kristin provides an overview and action plan with both the body fat measurement and symptom assessment. She lists out foods to eat and stay away from as well as supplements to consider. The knowledge I have gained from this experience is invaluable.
